  • 8 oz sirloin steak, cooked and sliced
  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinaigrette

Method

  1. If not already cooked, pan-sear the sirloin steak to your desired doneness. Let it rest, then slice thinly.
  2. In a large salad bowl, toss the mixed greens with the balsamic vinaigrette.
  3. Divide the dressed greens between two plates.
  4. Top each salad with the sliced steak, blue cheese crumbles, and walnuts.
Chef's tipThe vitamin C in the mixed greens helps your body absorb the iron from the steak more efficiently.
