The formula
To convert Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9. To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 9/5 and add 32. Recipes round to the nearest 5 or 10 degrees, which is well within the swing of a home oven.
Fan or convection ovens cook faster, so set them about 20°C (25°F) lower than a recipe written for a conventional oven. Using an air fryer instead? Try the air fryer converter.
