How to measure cocoa powder
Cocoa is very light. Spoon it in, level it, and sift it with the flour to break up lumps.
All amounts use the US cup (236.6 mL). A Canadian, Australian or metric cup is 250 mL, about 6% larger; for baking, the gram weights are the safest choice wherever you live.

Questions
How many grams is 1 cup of cocoa powder?
One US cup of cocoa powder weighs about 85 grams when measured the standard way.
How many cups is 100 grams of cocoa powder?
100 grams of cocoa powder is about 1⅛ cups.
Why do different charts give different weights?
Cup weights depend on how an ingredient is measured and on the brand. These figures use common baking-reference averages; weighing on a scale removes the guesswork.
